Our Story
Scott's journey began in 1989 with the opening of University Exxon on Emmet Street in Charlottesville, VA, near the University of Virginia. The station quickly became a trusted destination for faculty, students, and local drivers. After years as a technician, Scott built his first service station on honest service, quality workmanship, and lasting relationships.
For 36 years, those values have guided every location Scott has owned. From his first station to today's Scott's Ivy Exxon Automotive & Tire, our ASE-certified team proudly serves Charlottesville as a NAPA AutoCare Center, delivering dependable repair and maintenance for all types of vehicles.
Growing to Better Serve Our Community
As our customers' needs grow, so does our commitment to top-level automotive care. In 2024, we began planning a state-of-the-art expansion, with construction underway in 2025. The project adds five service bays, upgraded workspaces, an expanded reception area, and improved parking, plus advanced ADAS Calibration and Wheel Alignment services once complete.
Our updated name, Scott's Ivy Exxon Automotive & Tire, reflects our growth while honoring our Charlottesville reputation.
